On 24 May 2026, our family will embark on an inspiring journey as we paddle 30km around the beautiful city of Venice, participating in the iconic 50th Vogalonga Boat Race. This unique sporting event is a non-competitive paddling regatta founded to raise awareness about the harmful impact of heavy ship traffic on Venice’s delicate waterways.

We will be navigating the waters in a three-seater and a two-seater sea kayak alongside our three boys, united by a shared passion for adventure and a commitment to making a difference. Our mission goes beyond the race; we are raising funds for Friends of Sandcross School to provide outdoor play and learning equipment at Sandcross Primary School in Reigate, Surrey. These resources are essential to fostering creativity, physical activity, and exploration among young learners.
