This May I will be raising money for Children’s hospice south west by rowing from Bristol to London. It’s a 2 week trip in a lovely wooden 2 seater canoe, camping as I go with rotating friends to help me along the way.

Around 18 months ago my good friends Jimmy and Kelly had a beautiful baby boy called Max. He was born with a very rare genetic disorder called myotubular myopathy. This affected all his muscles and sadly meant that he left us after just a few short weeks.

Jimmy and Kelly took little Max to Charlton Farm children’s hospice where he lived out his final hours in the sunshine and in the arms of his loving parents.

This place not only looked after Max but gave Jimmy and Kelly time, care and support at the hardest time of their lives. They rely on charity donations to keep running and to do their amazing and essential work. Please give generously.
