Fundraising for Texas 4000

Texas 4000
I believe there is a parallel between cancer and the Texas 4000 ride. Those affected by cancer have to go through a long and strenuous journey. There is no quick solution or one-day cure. Their lives are prolonged, and they have to have hope. They have to fight for their lives every day. I'll be able to experience a similar endurance process. I want to be an inspiration to others. People who suffer will feel like I have their back, and that they are not alone. I will be committed to helping them so that they feel included and cared for.
A victory is not one day's ride. The victory is to endure a long-term solution. There is no guarantee that I will make it through the ride or that a cancer patient will survive. I won't be concerned with failure but rather with the long-term outcome of success.
I love to challenge myself. In challenges, there is an opportunity for growth. This ride will be a great challenge to raise money for a good cause. While I do love to challenge myself, I also love accomplishments. I think my life will be enhanced by partaking in this ride. What I hope to accomplish is completing the ride and making memories leading up to and during it. I also hope to make friends and impact the community around me. To cause a ripple effect through various people, not just those fighting cancer but anyone who supports the cause of finding a cure.
