Dear Friends

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. First an apology. Many of you supported me in 2023 for my ‘final’ Great North Run! Well, I’ve been a bad boy and broken the promise, because I am energised by the cause, Prostate Cancer UK, a great charity, and one that is helping all too many men, including friends of mine. But this really will be the ‘final final’, not least as the knees and much else are groaning at the thought! However, not only is the charity energising me, but I am inspired by those like Kevin Sinfield. OK, he’s a bit younger and fitter than me, but if he can put himself through the pain, in his case for MND Association, why can’t I? There will be no personal best. The plan it to get round!
