⭐️ THE INDOMITABLE BECKY RICH is at it again!!!!! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Previously Becky has raised money for DanceSyndrome with two separate annual boxing 🥊 challenges and during the first three months of last year 2025 Becky cycled 500 miles (!) on her exercise bike 🚴♀️ , all finishing on 21st MARCH in recognition of the annual “World Downs Syndrome Awareness Day”.
This year Becky has devised a challenge based on TRISOMY 21, the most recognised form of Downs Syndrome, which comprises a third chromosome 21. It seemed relevant to have 3 x 21 individual day challenges during the first three months of this year finishing on the 21st MARCH 2026, 🌎 World Downs Syndrome Awareness Day 🌍 a day traditionally now where everyone should wear odd socks 🧦 (ideally purchased from the Downs Syndrome Association😊👍) as a fun indicator of this important day.
On each of the allotted 63 days of “The Becky Rich Trisomy 21 Triathlon Challenge” Becky will Box, throwing 210 punches 🥊 at her boxing head, Walk/Dance🏃♀️/💃🏻 a minimum of 2100 steps and Exercise Bike 🚴♀️ for 21 minutes.
The wonderful charity DANCESYNDROME is an inclusive dance charity with a special focus on including everyone, regardless of ability. They provide weekly workshops, leadership training and inspiring performances, all in line with their unique co-delivery model - people with and without disabilities working together collaboratively as it should be in all walks of life. They set a very good example to us all.
Becky has been associated with DanceSyndrome for 12 years and has enjoyed many wonderful experiences and made a lot of very good friends. All the participants are always very keen to refer to DanceSyndrome as their “DANCING FAMILY” which is a very fair description. They are all brothers and sisters in spirit. Please look at their website to see their many successes and opportunities.
Not only is Becky a qualified Dance Leader, Co-leading a Musical Jazz class every week online but she is also very proud to be an appointed spokesperson and ambassador for the charity. This is a role she enjoys very much and over the years has spoken at many conferences, on radio, live TV and podcasts.
