As most of you know we are taking part in the Manchester Marathon on 14th April this year. We are so excited and nervous at the same time but training hard so we can complete this to the best we possibly can!

Together, we are the best team and over time have become mentally strong together and literally running is our world! Our saviour. Our stress release, our everything 🏃‍♀️

We would like to run in memory of George Beeley & Norma Griffith and raise some money for Northcare Charity.

The loss of Norma has been absolutely devastating to everyone and the unexpected loss of George a couple of weeks ago really has left a hole in our hearts ❤️‍🩹

We want to do this for them 💗 💙

Northcare Charity deliver outstanding care across Bury, Oldham, Rochdale and Salford by funding innovative equipment, education, research and wellbeing activities.

Through donations they support NHS staff to deliver the best care possible for over a million patients and their families every year.

Both George & Norma spent their final days in the exceptional care of the staff at Salford Royal, Norma in critical care and George in EAU (emergency assessment unit) and every single step of the 26.2 miles we take on April 14th will be in their memory….

If you can spare anything, no matter how small a donation every little penny will help allow this charity to continue to provide the level of service they do to all NHS patients at Salford Royal 🫶 any monies made will be split equally to both departments , CCU and EAU.
