Walking 1 million steps

The funds you raise help make things better for our staff, our patients and their families. Thanks to your generous support, UHCW Charity funds world-leading equipment, trains NHS staff in ground breaking techniques and improves surroundings.

Story

Between 21st April and 12th July, Billy Ramsay will be aiming to walk 1 million steps on behalf of the Forget Me Not Fund.

Billy’s walks will be taking place in various places in England, Scotland Wales, Northern Ireland with a short venture into the Republic of Ireland and culminating in Southport on the 12th July. Feel free to join him along the way.

The Forget Me Not Fund is used to improve facilities and the experience of patients with Dementia at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire.

Research shows that more than 944,000 people in the UK have dementia, with 1 in 11 people over the age of 65 being diagnosed with dementia in the UK. Meaning, we are all likely to know someone who has been impacted by dementia.

Any donations welcomed.
