Story
On Saturday October 12th during baby loss awareness week I will put my trainers back on for a one day event and take on the local climb of Ploughcroft Lane in Halifax a total of 50 times.
In recent years during baby loss awareness week I have taken on other local climbs in a similar way including the famous Shibden Wall and Trooper Lane.
Ploughcroft Lane is located just across from Shibden Wall.
This year it feels right to return to Ploughcroft Lane as in the final weeks before my August history making Tsambika Monastery extreme challenge in Rhodes I completed much of my final training at this location.
Baby Loss awareness weeks in our most difficult month of the year as it is Kallipateira's 6th birthday on October 26th. Our daughter was stillborn at 37 weeks of pregnancy just two weeks before her due date.
Every day is difficult and always will be but the month of October is our most emotional and challenging time of the year.

I am just a bereaved dad doing my very best to make sure our daughter did not die for nothing and I know on October 12th she will be with me as always. This is in memory of all the babies who have passed away for their families. This is also in a special recognise for all the bereaved dads out there - I am with you.
The funds raised will support our daughters charity The Kallipateira Moorhouse Foundation who supports the Maternal and Fetal Health Research team and Rainbow Clinic in Manchester.
Any support with a donation would be wonderful.
