Story
Over the past few months a number of St. Wilfrid's Year 7 students have taken part in the Prince of Wales Hospice Business Builder Challenge – A Dragons’ Den style competition. As part of this initiative, two groups of Year 7 students from St. Wilfrid’s competed against other local schools to pitch their business ideas to 5 business professionals to win an investment of £50.00, on the basis that this investment is used to generate further funds for the vital work that the hospice provides to the local community.
The two businesses include St. Wilfrid’s Sweet Treatz (food/cake/cookie style items) and Bead Gurlz (beaded bracelets).
This fundraising page is operated to help the two businesses with their fundraising activities.
The Prince of Wales Hospice provides specialist care for people with life-limiting illness and their families in the Five Towns area of Wakefield District. We support around 900 local people each year.
