I am thrilled to share that I have been chosen by Torbay Hospital NHS Charity to participate in the London Marathon on 26th April 2026. This incredible opportunity is especially meaningful to me as I celebrate my 10-year anniversary working at Torbay Hospital, where I started my journey as a Healthcare Assistant and have worked my way up to becoming a Sister in the Discharge Lounge.

Running the marathon is the biggest challenge I’ve ever taken on, and I want to do it not just for the personal achievement but also to make a real difference for our hospital and its patients. I am fundraising to support Torbay Hospital Charity, which helps provide essential equipment, resources, and improvements that directly benefit those who rely on our services.

To maximize my fundraising efforts, I will also be organizing additional events such as quiz nights and cake sales. Every penny raised will go towards enhancing patient care and supporting our dedicated staff.
