Chloe and Mark's Kilimanjaro climb for Amnesty International UK

Hiking Kilimanjaro · 29 March 2025
Having casually bumbled our way up to Everest Basecamp a few years ago, our rose tinted glasses have convinced us to give Kilimanjaro a go this March. And we figured, while we're at it, we might as well raise some money for a charity close to our hearts - Amnesty International.
We're very passionate about human rights and the work Amnesty does. It's more important than ever to make sure Amnesty have the resources they need to keep up their incredibly important work.
Amnesty International is a movement of ordinary people from across the world standing up for humanity and human rights. When injustice happens to one person, it happens to us all.
Recent campaigns include refugee and migrant rights, climate change, children's rights, women's rights, Syrian conflict and LGBTI rights. Amnesty's biggest achievements include outlawing torture, holding war criminals to account and controlling the arms trade.
We're so grateful to anyone who can donate. Knowing donations are being made while we rock back and forth in the corner of a tent with altitude sickness, or when bursting our seventh blister of the day, will give us the motivation we need to get to the top.
Thank you!
