Chris's fundraiser for The Ayrshire Hospice

Chris McMail is raising money for The Ayrshire Hospice

Glasgow Kiltwalk 2026 · 25 April 2026 to 26 April 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

We provide expert care and support for people across Ayrshire living with life-shortening illness, and those closest to them. Our aim is to help people live well, with comfort, dignity and choice. Every person and moment matters - and with our community’s support, we’re here when it matters most.

Story

As a proud Business Ambassador for The Ayrshire Hospice, I have witnessed the incredible comfort and unwavering support provided to those living with life-limiting illnesses. Every day, the dedicated team delivers specialist palliative and end-of-life care, while also offering vital emotional support to families and loved ones during their most challenging times.

The Ayrshire Hospice costs £25,000 each day to operate, yet only 41% of this funding comes from the NHS. This means that the hospice relies heavily on the generosity and kindness of people like you to continue their essential work. On 25 April 2026, I will be participating in the Glasgow Kiltwalk 2026 to raise funds for this remarkable cause.

I invite you to join me in making a difference by supporting my fundraising goal of £500. Your donation, no matter how big or small, will help ensure that The Ayrshire Hospice can keep providing compassionate care and comfort when it is needed most. Together, we can bring hope and relief to so many lives—thank you for your kindness and support.
