With no desire to run in her life we completed the 2022 GNR

Sarah then came out with "I can run a marathon"!!! After picking myself back up.... "of course you can my dear" was my reply!!! 6 months on,her belief still there, we have now signed up for the 2024 Yorkshire marathon!!!

We have decided that the stroke association (as strokes have affected both sides of our families)should benefit from our "stupidity " any and all donations are welcome and definitely helps in those final few miles!!!

When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt.
