Later this year I'll be embarking on a monumental fitness challenge and I’d love to take a moment to tell you about.
I'm gearing up to tackle not one, not two, but THREE ultra marathons!
Having never run a marathon before, let alone an ultra marathon, I have yet again plunged myself right in at the deep end. To top it off, the routes for these ultra marathons won’t be flat. For each one I’ll be starting at the coast and running to, up, & down the 3 biggest mountains that the UK has to offer; Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, & Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). 🏔️🏔️🏔️
It's going to be a journey of grit, determination, and pushing my limits! This challenging feat is not just about personal accomplishment; it's about making a difference for an amazing cause.
Children with Cancer UK is a charity that funds much needed research into the causes of childhood cancers, and the development of better, kinder treatments as well as funding initiatives that support children and their families through cancer treatment and beyond.
Their work has contributed significantly to a marked increase in childhood cancer survival rates and improved quality of life for patients. They have a vision of a world where every child and young person survives cancer. The thought of being able to help in some small way is an incredible motivator!
I'm reaching out to you today to ask for your support in this endeavour. Whether it's through a donation or simply spreading the word about my challenge, every bit of support will make a significant impact in the fight against childhood cancer.
