Story
The ride is done. The mission isn’t. Help us reach £20,000 for Crisis.
In the first week of September, fifteen team EDP members completed the 550 km from Cirencester to Ghent in great style! Four days of blazing sun AND driving rain with 40 mph winds were punctuated by twenty-seven punctures, eight crashes (including a fractured ankle and a sprained knee). Plenty of laughter and tears made this an unforgettable way to mark EDP’s 20th year.
In the same week, the rest of the team completed 2,700km from our offices - on exercise bikes, in trainers and even on a unicycle. The team then came together in Ghent for a magical weekend of friendship and celebration.
Our ride may be finished, but our mission isn’t. Before the end of the year, we are still aiming to raise £20,000 for the homelessness charity Crisis, which provides vital frontline support, education and employment services, and campaigns for lasting policy change.
Every donation, large or small, helps us get closer to that goal and makes a real difference for people facing homelessness. We’ll be keeping this page open for contributions until the end of the year – so if you haven’t yet given, or would like to add a little more, now is the perfect time.
In the run-up to Christmas, EDP is planning further events – including a Dog Portrait Day and activities focusing on homelessness at Christmas. You can see all updates from Ghent and future events on our EDP Instagram and LinkedIn accounts - please give us a follow, share to your network, and help support our fundraiser!
Thank you for supporting us and this incredible cause! 💛
