St. Ann's is a 13th Century, well attended church of which I am churchwarden. The Dorset Historic Churches Trust has been and continues to be a great help giving grants for major repairs. A Grade 2* listed building is often in need of help with the roof, walls, stained glass windows etc. and this year is no exception. We always take part in the Ride and Stride event, visiting beautiful churches around the county and keeping St. Ann's open that day (although it is always open daily) to welcome other participants with refreshments, a tour, facilities and sometimes just a welcome sit down in beautiful surroundings.
