Story
In April 2026, we will be taking on the huge challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for SUDC, in memory of our beautiful daughter, Willow Poppy Forrest.
In November 2024, we suddenly and unexpectedly lost our daughter, Willow, after putting her to bed. Willow was a happy, healthy little girl. She was full of love, life and laughter, we all miss her immensely. So, we are taking on 13.1 miles of the London Landmarks Half Marathon not only in her memory but to raise awareness and help fund research into SUDC.
SUDC UK is a registered, national charity dedicated to raising awareness, funding research and supporting families affected by Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC).
SUDC is the sudden and unexpected death of a child aged 1 to 18 years where the cause of death remains unexplained after a thorough investigation. 40 children are affected every year in the UK, more than young child deaths due to traffic accidents, fires or drowning and comparable to 1-2 seemingly healthy children dying every fortnight. Thank you for your support.
Thank you so much in advance for donating whatever you can, it really will make a massive difference.
