Welcome to Equilibria 🤝
Founded in 2016, we are more than a charity — we are a vibrant community of British Muslim educators committed to transforming understanding in schools.

Misrepresentation of Islam and Muslims continues to shape perceptions — and young people often feel the impact most deeply.
At a time when Islamophobia is on the rise, many Muslim pupils report feeling unseen, misunderstood, or excluded within their own school communities.
We believe every child deserves to feel that they belong.
🎯 Our Mission
To challenge stereotypes.
To champion truth.
To raise standards in education.
Through engaging, high-quality initiatives, we present Islam authentically while promoting professionalism, inclusion, and meaningful dialogue in schools.
To date, we have engaged over 21,630 students — delivering workshops, assemblies, mosque visits, virtual tours, and educational resources that are not only informative, but transformative.
But now, our work must go further.
💛 Our Three Key Projects
1️⃣ The Belonging Project
Islamophobia is rising — and Muslim pupils are feeling its impact.
The Belonging Project introduces a public accreditation for schools that demonstrate genuine inclusion and cultural awareness of Muslim pupils.
Through this project, we will:
📘 Develop practical, high-quality resources
🤝 Support schools to embed meaningful, lasting change
Our goal is simple: Muslim pupils should feel seen, valued, and supported — never sidelined or misunderstood.
2️⃣ Teacher Training
Inclusion begins with informed, confident educators.
Our dedicated Teacher Training Programme will provide specialist CPD, mentoring, and interactive training to equip school staff with the knowledge, skills, and cultural awareness needed to support Muslim pupils effectively.
When teachers feel confident, classrooms become safer, more inclusive spaces for everyone.
3️⃣ The Minibus Initiative
Access should never be a barrier to understanding.
We are working towards securing a minibus to ensure pupils who would otherwise be unable to attend can access our mosque visits and immersive learning experiences.
This will:
🚌 Remove transport barriers
🌍 Increase access for schools from diverse backgrounds
🤝 Ensure no child misses out on meaningful engagement
Because belonging should not depend on postcode or budget.
