After being diagnosed with vasculitis in 2018/19 and then a connective tissue disorder, I was completely knocked off my feet. I didn’t realise that something that looked so simple could change my life as drastically as it did

I was diagnosed at Solihull Hospital and spent much of my early 20’s there. To this day am still under the same amazing consultant who myself and my family don’t know where I would be without her.

I became aware of the charity vasculitis uk by complete chance, I was on a walk with my partner, he was following the smell of pizza, we stumbled across a community fayre and vasculitis uk had a small stall. Damn, people like me do exist

Last September I found myself interrupting a disgusting scene. A group of school children were kicking around what I believed to be a football, I got closer to realise it was a kitten. I took the kitten home to attempt to reunite with their owner but I was made aware she had nobody, here a partnership was born!

Over the month of February myself and said kitten Evelyn will be walking 100 miles. To raise funds for friends of Solihull Hospital and vasculitis uk.
