I'm running the Edinburgh Half Marathon to raise money for Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity. They're a brilliant charity which offer relief to unwell children and their families at Glasgow Children's Hospital.

I'm running in memory of Molly, a RCH Charity volunteer administrator and young ambassador. She was quite exceptional, championing child health and advocating for children's voices to be heard amidst the commotion of hospital life. We were fortunate to have Molly lead a communication workshop at our 2025 Glasgow Undergraduate Paediatric Conference. This session was the highlight of the day providing medical students with insight into the value of compassion, care and respect when looking after children and young people.

Molly's warmth, humility and thoughtfulness shone bright. She led by example, inspired many and leaves behind a legacy that will continue to influence how we care for children.
