Gemma's fundraiser for Motor Neurone Disease Association

Gemma Simpson is raising money for Motor Neurone Disease Association

Peak District Ultra Challenge 2026 · 4 July 2026 to 5 July 2026 ·

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page supporting the Motor Neurone Disease Association. I’m excited to share that I will be participating in the Peak District Ultra Challenge on the 4th and 5th of July 2026, where I will walk a total of 100km starting and ending in Bakewell.Training starts in January and will be documented so you can all follow right up until the weekend of the challenge.

Anyone who knows me,knows that this cause is incredibly close to my heart, as I have witnessed my lovely mum bravely living with this incurable and terminal disease. Motor Neurone Disease is still not widely understood, and the support from the MND Association has made a significant difference in our lives. Their commitment to improving access to care, advancing research, and advocating for those affected by MND in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland is truly inspiring.

By sponsoring me you will be helping countless individuals affected by Motor Neurone Disease. Your generosity will directly support vital services provided by the MND Association. Once you donate, JustGiving will ensure your contribution reaches them securely and efficiently. Thank you once again for your support; together we can make a meaningful impact.
