Story
As many of you now know, my mum is no longer with us, no longer competing in mad challenges or climbing mountains casually on the weekends, and no longer able to fight for causes she cares about with the people she loves.
But I am still here and I am going to keep honouring her legacy. SO..... on the 16th May, myself and a big group of friends/family will be walking the Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge (58km in a day! - some of us going as far as 100km over two days!!), every step taken with LOVE!
In the lead-up to the event, I am fundraising for the Ectopic Pregnancy Trust (EPT), who work to support individuals affected by ectopic pregnancy - a life-threatening condition that is often overlooked in education and considered as taboo - and offers a compassionate community built on trust and inclusivity.
Mum truly believed that no one should have to suffer alone. She was committed to "talking about the hard stuff" that life presents to us. She empowered others to share their stories - whether sharing her stitch work and embroidery, through teaching my school friends how to write uni applications, through setting up Antenatal classes in her living room, through listening, staying connected, and showing up!
I am determined to do the same moving forward.
Your support and any donations made will help raise life-saving awareness, as well as ensuring fewer people face frightening symptoms alone and more lives are protected through earlier diagnosis! It will also give me a well-needed kick up the ass to complete this mad challenge !!!!
Thank you - it means a lot!
