Gloucestershire Cricket's fundraiser for Motor Neurone Disease Association

Gloucestershire County Cricket Club is raising money for Motor Neurone Disease Association
In memory of David 'Syd' Lawrence
Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page.

On Sunday 9 August, Gloucestershire Cricket will host a special Metro Bank One Day Cup fixture against Nottinghamshire in memory of our much-loved former player, President and England international, David "Syd" Lawrence MBE.

Syd inspired so many through his courage, determination and positivity following his motor neurone disease (MND) diagnosis. This match is an opportunity to celebrate his incredible legacy while raising vital funds for the MND Association.

Every donation, big or small, will help fund research, improve care and support, and campaign for people living with MND and their families. Thank you for your generosity and for helping us honour Syd's legacy. Together, we can make a real difference.
