Bowel Cancer UK is the country's leading bowel cancer charity.

They fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care. A year ago, I was diagnosed with this disease, but fortunately it was caught early and, touch wood, treatment has been successful. I know of several friends who have also suffered, whether it be themselves or those close to them.
