Story
Grillo's Grotto is more than just a Christmas light display; it is a legacy of love and a beacon of hope dedicated to the fight against dementia.
This tradition was first started over 40 years ago by my amazing Uncle, Tony Grillo. I, Calum Henderson, am proudly keeping the mantle going with help from the Grillo and Henderson families, as Tony now bravely faces his own battle with vascular dementia.
We are fundraising for the Alzheimer’s Society because our family has seen firsthand the devastation of this cruel disease. Our light display is a loving tribute to my grandparents, Frank and June Grillo, who sadly passed away after their own battles, and a show of support for Tony as he continues his fight.
Every bulb we switch on is a commitment to the cause. We fundraise to ensure the Alzheimer’s Society can continue its crucial work: giving help to those living with dementia today and providing hope for a future where this disease no longer devastates lives.
Please help us turn the joy of Grillo's Grotto into life-changing support. Thank you for your kindness!
