Supporting Our Own: Why We’re Taking on the Hadrian’s Wall Challenge

Firefighters and staff from Tyne and Wear are coming together to take on a unique endurance challenge—cycling, running, and rowing the full length of Hadrian’s Wall within 24 hours. This team effort isn’t just about physical endurance; it’s about raising vital funds for a cause close to all our hearts: The Fire Fighters Charity.

The charity provides life-long support to the UK’s fire services community, offering tailored mental health, physical rehabilitation, and wellbeing services to serving and retired personnel, as well as their families. Whether it's recovery from injury, coping with trauma, or navigating life’s challenges, the charity is there—offering expert care, safe spaces, and a sense of community when it’s needed most.

By donating, you’re helping ensure this essential support continues for those who dedicate their lives to protecting others.
