Story
Over the last two years running has changed my life completely, and that is no exaggeration. From running 100km over 2 days whilst raising money for PSPA, to running from Chelmsford to Cardiff over 6 days for PSPA and Sport in Mind, and most recently becoming the quickest self supported person ever to run the length of Luxembourg from north to south.
Running has given me a sense of enjoyment and a sense of distraction, which is what children in Broomfield hospital over Christmas may not have. Raising money for Children’s Services at my local hospital on behalf of Mid and South Essex Hospitals Charity will give me the most immense pleasure and motivation in order to complete this gruelling challenge, which is a half marathon every day from November 24th to December 24th. Donated funds will go towards distraction and sensory toys, games and activities.
My simple aim is to raise as much money as possible to hopefully put a smile on the faces of the children in Broomfield hospital over the Christmas period.
