Story

Thanks for visiting our page. This year Hays Travel Aylsham are raising money for the British Heart Foundation. Elyse & Darcey are completing a skydive in aid of this amazing charity on the 7th September 2025. We're grateful for your support.

The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, every £1 helps.

British Heart Foundation is a charity that is close to us all and has supported many of our lovely family members. We are raising money for them but also a lovely family who live in Cawston. Here is their story:

Eddison is from Cawston in Norfolk. His parents are Jo and Graham Watts and he has two sisters - Georgia (19) and Darcey (14). Just six years ago, Ed was born with Tetralogy of Fallot - four different congenital heart defects. He underwent emergency open heart surgery when he was only 10 days old at the Evelina Children’s Hospital in London.

Eddison has made a remarkable recovery from his operation and is such a cheerful and happy boy. However, Eddison doesn’t have a pulmonary valve, so he has to have annual echocardiograms performed by Great Ormond Street cardiologists. It is anticipated that Eddison will likely need a pulmonary valve replacement in adolescence years.

Thank you for your continued support.
