Story
In January 2023 my much loved younger brother, John, died from an aggressive, non-operable brain tumour less than three months after being diagnosed. He was a lovely gentle giant of a man. I never heard a bad word said about him. He would help anybody who needed it and he adored his family, his wife, two daughters and five grandchildren who called him BFG (Big Friendly Granddad💕). My sister and I and our families miss him very much as well. He was 66 and should have had so much more life to live. When I turned 70 in February 2025 I decided to challenge myself to do 70 swims in 70 different locations in my 70th year.

Originally it was a personal challenge but as several people have asked I’ve decided to do it for charity as well and have chosen The Brain Tumour Charity in memory of my lovely brother. There is information about the charity below and I know that anything I raise will be put to good use for research and support. Thank you. Heather x
