Story
Year 2 of the Hedley May Walk 3.0
Sometimes the most extraordinary journeys begin with a single step. On 11th September this year, the team at Hedley May will be lacing up their walking boots again and setting off on the second leg of the 350-mile trek from their offices in St Helen's Place, Bishopsgate, to St Helen's Oratory, Penzance. This year we will be setting off from Swallowfield, just outside Reading, and making our way to Pewsey. The aim is to raise £250,000 for two incredible organisations that are transforming young people's futures and moving the dial for social mobility Making The Leap and The King's Trust.
We have worked with Making The Leap and The King's Trust for many years now and have seen first-hand the difference these charities make in helping young people gain confidence and secure employment - £30,000 will pay for 10 young people to be put through the Making The Leap Programme, and £39,000 for 10 to go through the King's Trust Programme.
Give the gift of opportunity!
For every £500 donation to our cause, we'll provide personalised one-on-one interview training or career coaching to someone you care about, whether it's a family member, friend, or student who could use that extra boost.
For donations of £1000 or more, we'll spend an entire afternoon with a team or school of your choice, delivering professional interview skills and career coaching that could truly change lives.
Your generous donation not only supports our important cause but also empowers others with the confidence and skills they need to succeed. It's a gift that keeps giving.
Hedley May will match every pound of your donation!
We are truly grateful for your support and would love to stay in touch. While we respect your privacy when you choose to donate anonymously, we'd be delighted if you could share your contact details during the confirmation process or email us directly at team@hedleymay.com. This would allow us to send you a personal thank you and keep you updated on our progress throughout this challenge.
