On the 4th November this year, I plan to take on 6 of the High Mournes peaks in memory of my beautiful son Ethan, who died in the RBHSC.

The hike will include the 3 highest peaks in the Mournes: Slieve Binnian, Slieve Commedagh and Slieve Donard.

Ethan was admitted suddenly following an RTC on 20th June 2022. We were able to spend most of a week by Ethan's side before he died on 25th June, just 5 days before he would turn 7. I am forever grateful to the various teams, specialties and individual staff of RBHSC and the Organ Donation💗 teams for providing Ethan and our family exceptional care and respect during the last days of his life.

I am doing this hike for Helping Hand so that they can continue to provide the extra comforts to Children and their families, particularly within the paediatric intensive care unit. Thank you ✨
