Story
Mental health is a journey that many of us navigate, often in silence. I have faced my own struggles at various stages of life, and through these experiences, I've come to realize that I am not alone. Many people grapple with their mental well-being, and it is crucial that we create a space for open conversations about our feelings.
That’s why I am taking on the challenge of the '24/50/01' event—a 24-hour ultra marathon, a 50km row on a rowing machine, and a pro hyrox to finish—all within just seven days. This endeavor is not just about pushing my physical limits; it’s about raising awareness and funds for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably), an organization dedicated to supporting those who are struggling with mental health issues.
My good friend and business partner, Paul Willis will also be taking on the 24 hour run with me. We will help push each other in the aim to complete 100 miles each. Paul has found that running has improved his mental health.
We are aiming to raise £1,000 to help ensure that more people have access to the support they need. If putting myself through this challenge can help even one person feel less alone or encourage someone to reach out for help, then every moment will be worth it. I invite you to join me in this mission—together, we can make a difference and foster a community where everyone feels valued and heard.
