A sequel to the 2022 #ibdvisible Charity Cup, the 2025 Conquerors Cup will set the stage for the anticipated rematch between Thanet XI and Garden of England.

It's been a tumultuous few years to say the least. The match itself was scheduled for May 2023 however was postponed indefinitely due to a massive decline in physical health. I'd lost the ability and strength to walk on my own two legs for over a year in total. This was where in September of '23, polyps were discovered within my large intestine, which turned out to be active and malignant. Throughout cancelled surgeries, several failed treatments and debilitating side-effects, I am able to confidently come forward and declare myself in remission.

It's the first time in my life I've ever been above 66kg. It's been a tedious cycle of finding effective combinations only for the body to turn against what I thought I knew, and for 4 years straight between this and Crohn's Disease, I never thought I'd be capable again. Alas here I am, confident enough to declare myself fit to play.
