Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm climbing the highest peak in Africa in December 2025 for this wonderful charity and would appreciate if you can help out by contributing. Even if it's a share it's always a case that many hands make light work and most people giving a little will be greater than a few people giving a lot.

So who are they?

Parkinson’s UK, the charity that’s here to support every Parkinson’s journey. Every step of the way.

It all started with Mali Jenkins. Mali’s sister, Sarah, had Parkinson’s. When Mali looked for information about the condition, she didn’t find anything helpful. But she didn’t give up. Mali reached out to others living with Parkinson’s to share experiences. It was the beginning of their journey.

Over 50 years later, they haven’t stopped. Today they're a united movement of people living with Parkinson’s across the UK. They're families, volunteers, campaigners, fundraisers, scientists and health and care workers.

Together they share one mission: to make life with Parkinson’s better, today. Campaigning for better health and care services. Funding research into groundbreaking new treatments. And building strong, supportive communities.

They will find a cure, but it’s not all they're working for. They're making a difference now. For every Parkinson’s journey.

I started to follow this charity and find put more when my father was diagnosed with Parkinsons.

Watching him literally disintegrate before my eyes over several years changed my life and focus forever so now is my chance to help and you can too by giving a little to help a lot.

Just click on the donate button and give what you can. Remember to share as it's just as important to get even more exposure, and who knows, it could help one of your family or friends.
