Liz and I will be taking part in the Great North Run in support of those living with mesothelioma.

The wonderful Ron Snaith threw down the gauntlet at last year’s Patient and Carer day and challenged us to take on the mighty ‘GreatNorthRun’ and with us not being the kind to be shying away from a challenge we both said yes!

Now that the reality of this humongous challenge is setting in Liz says “I am anxious about attending such a big event and really hope I don’t let the side down!! “ me however, “if I have to come over the finish line on a stretcher then so be it!”

But on a serious note, this is a cause very close to both our hearts and we are forever grateful to those who support the charity, for without them we could not do the vital work we do to support those living with mesothelioma.
