Julia Lo Bue-Said OBE is raising money for Walk the Walk Family Support Service

ATW Run Fest at Lee Valley · 22 March 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

Walk The Walk Family Service supports families in crisis, providing mental health support through Issie's Emotional Wellbeing Hub alongside our Family Support Service for families in crisis and NACCC accredited Bubba's Contact Centre for separated families to maintain contact with their children.

Story

On 22nd March, I will be running 10k alongside my family, who are taking on a half marathon, to support Walk the Walk Family Support Services.

As a Trustee of Walk the Walk, I see first-hand the vital and often life-changing support the charity provides to families, children, and young people facing complex challenges, including poor mental health, self-harm, domestic abuse, and poverty.

Walk the Walk delivers tailored, compassionate support, led by highly qualified Family Support Workers and Therapists, ensuring families feel heard, supported, and empowered to make positive change.

Demand for mental health support is at an all-time high. Every donation will go directly to Issie’s Emotional Wellbeing Hub, helping to ensure the right support reaches families at the right time.

£25 funds a befriender session

£35 funds a counselling session for a child

£100 funds a session with a Consultant Clinical Psychologist

Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a real difference.
