Story
After her success last year climbing Cave Hill to fundraise for Inspire, Joanne is back again in 2026 with an even bigger challenge! This time, to walk 10 miles to raise money for Inspire's Addiction Services.
The walk will take place from 9am to 3.30pm on 12th May, 2026!
Starting at an Inspire service in West Belfast and ending at Inspire's headquarters in Belfast City Centre, Joanne will stop at 6 other services along the way, including the services in South and East Belfast. And she won't be alone - staff and the people who use these services will join in for as much or as little as they can along the way, and Inspire will be highlighting the walk on Instagram throughout the day; so if you can't follow physically, make sure to follow along digitally to show Joanne your support.
Last year, Joanne raised money for an Intellectual Disability and Autism Service; this year, she is aiming to support Inspire's Addiction Services instead.
Inspire's Mental Health and Addiction Services focus on recovery and inclusion by empowering and supporting people to achieve their goals. Their addiction services specifically provide structured therapeutic support to individuals impacted by alcohol and substance misuse.
Anything you can donate to this fundraiser will go a long way in supporting quality, evidence-based care for those struggling with addiction.
