Story

Hi everyone! Its been a long-term ambition of mine to complete a full distance triathlon, and the time has come to make it happen! In doing so, I wanted to raise money for a cause which I’m passionate about, and, if you know me, it will come as no surprise that it is for The Salvation Army, specifically in Blackpool!

We are working to expand our homelessness support programme, and taking steps to develop an accommodation service this year (more details to follow…). So the money you give will go towards making this happen!

In working towards the main event on July 30th (Outlaw Nottingham Full - 2.4 mile swim; 112 mile bike; 26.2 mile run), I’ll also be completing the Horwich Triathlon (500m swim; 40km cycle; 8.6km run) on May 7, and Ride London (100 mile cycle) on May 28.

I began my training programme on January 1st, 2023 and it’s been a hugely rewarding experience. It’s a massive challenge for me! But it will make it all worthwhile if I can also hit my fundraising target! Your support makes all the difference.
