As a group we have chosen to raise money to support Hope House children’s Hospice. Hope House is a charity close to our hearts as Joseph Leask who created our walking group to help improve mental health in the community through walking and talking, has a son who regularly accesses care and respite from this wonderful charity.

Joseph’s son Sebby has complex medical needs requiring wrap around care, which Hope House has been able to provide to Sebby and his family for the past 2 years. This charity enables Sebby’s family and many other families to feel reassured that their precious children are safe and being loved and well cared for during their visits to Hope House.

Joseph is always telling the walking group about Sebby’s time with Hope House and how happy he is to be there with the amazing staff who provide such vital specialised care. Sebby’s favourite activities to take part in during his stays include story time, swimming, sensory play, walks and music. Donations to this amazing charity are crucial to continue this support for families like Sebby’s. Any donation possible, makes a big impact for Hope House to provide such dedicated care and support to many families across, Shropshire, Cheshire and Wales. 💙🫶💙🫶💙
