JP’s fundraiser for Air Ambulance Northern Ireland

Jp Kilpatrick is raising money for Air Ambulance Northern Ireland

140km Cycle, Ring of Beara · 24 May 2025

Air Ambulance NI, in partnership with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS), provides the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) for NI. Serious or life-threatening situations can happen to anyone at any time and on average every day one individual finds themselves in need of AANI.

Story

Today myself and two other firefighters from Antrim Fire Station will take on the challenge of The Ring of Beara. A 140km cycle to help support the work of the Air Ambulance Northern Ireland.

As operational firefighters attending some of the most traumatic road traffic collisions, we see first hand the brilliant job the crew of the air ambulance deliver.

Each day operational cost are approximately £6850. This means 2.5 million is needed each year to keep the Air Ambulance Northern Ireland operational.

Helping raise funds for this charity means a great deal, so any donations big or small would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,

JP Kilpatrick, Mark Kilpatrick and Colin Lundy.
