My beautiful mum, Judy Kear, died in my arms on Tuesday 17th February, after a ten year battle with Alzheimer’s and Vascular Dementia.

To me, she was everything. To the world around her, she was a fierce and gentle protector of animals. Mum spent her life being a voice for those who could not speak, offering love, safety and care not only to her own animals, but to all animals.

She lived by her values every single day. A strict vegan, she believed deeply that it is our responsibility to create a safer, kinder world for animals and to protect the habitats they call home.

Dean Farm Trust reflects everything Mum stood for. Their work to rescue, protect and care for animals is the kind of compassion she lived and breathed.

We would love to honour Mum’s life, her love and her unwavering beliefs by supporting this incredible sanctuary.
