Story

“A Cure Can’t Wait”

We’re running the Great North Run in September this year to show our support and love for our best friends, Luke & Mya ❤️

Luke was diagnosed with a rare brain tumour (a trigeminal schwannoma) in June 2024 and has recently undergone not one but TWO craniotomies - one planned, one emergency. We are in complete awe of Luke & Mya’s strength and bravery during this time, especially when they had to move into their first home the week before Luke’s first surgery.

The Brain Tumour Charity has provided excellent support to both Luke and Mya during this extremely difficult time, so it feels only right to run in their name to raise awareness and vital funds to help them continue their amazing work.

The Brain Tumour Charity is the world’s leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, they’re moving further and faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour. Their goal is to both double survival and halve the harm that brain tumours have on quality of life by 2030!

I hope we can make you proud, because we’re so flipping proud of you…let’s gooooo!!!
