Story
We lost our wonderful dad to Bowel cancer in May 2023, he was only 62.
Although dad had a routine screening the October before which came back negative, he was diagnosed the following April with stage 4 Bowel Cancer and died just one month after his diagnosis.
I am running for Bowel Cancer UK in memory of Dad, and also to raise money to help raise awareness of a disease that is very curable if found in its early stages.
We all miss Dad very much, and have chosen to run for in memory of him.
Thank you for any money you choose to donate, it really does mean a lot to me.
We’re the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity.
We fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.
We’re here to stop people dying of bowel cancer.
