Story
Meet Tiptoe - a brave six month old cat who has already endured far more than any young animal should. He was brought to our Leeds Cat Centre after a concerned member of the public spotted him struggling outdoors. He was limping badly, clearly in pain, and in need of urgent medical attention.
As soon as he reached us, our team took him straight to the vet, where it was discovered that his leg was broken ā and had likely been that way for over a week. With the injury causing him significant discomfort and unable to heal properly, the decision was made to amputate the damaged limb so he could finally begin to recover.
Thanks to swift action from our team and the dedicated care of our vets, Tiptoe is now safe, comfortable, and beginning his recovery. Even after everything he has been through, he remains a gentle, affectionate young cat who is happiest curled up on a warm lap.
Weāre asking for your help to cover the cost of Tiptoeās treatment and to ensure we can be there for the next cat who needs urgent care. Every donation, no matter the size, helps us give vulnerable cats like Tiptoe the chance of a brighter, pain free future.
Even the smallest donation could make the biggest difference:
⢠£2 could feed a cat in our care for 10 days
⢠£5 could pay for worming treatment for one cat
⢠£10 could pay for flea treatment for one cat
⢠£50 could pay for a full veterinary examination for two cats
If we are fortunate enough to surpass our target, any funds raised above and beyond this amount will be used to help other cats in our care.
