Brain Tumour Research is the leading voice of the brain tumour community and focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours. We are campaigning to increase the national investment in research to £35 million per year and funding sustainable Centres of Excellence across the UK.

Story

Last year, I lost my brother Scott to a brain tumour. I think everyone who knows us will know how close we are as brothers and when this happened it absolutely broke my heart. Scott was always there for me and meant the world to me. Scott was very active and a lot fitter than I ever was, he ran marathons, did mud runs and ran rings round many on a football pitch. So I’ve decided to do a challenge that I think Scott would be proud of.

I will be raising money for brain tumour research, as I believe the important work they do will make a big difference in the future and hopefully give people with a brain tumour more of a chance. I hope no families have to go through such a loss that we all did, when we lost my brother Scott.

Now for the challenge, I will be doing the 2 peak challenge, however I will be cycling in between the peaks. This will consist of walking the up the 2 peaks starting with Scafell Pike and ending with Snowdon, plus just over 290km of cycling in 3.5 days, this will be completed (hopefully) in September and plan to finish on Scott’s 29th birthday (10th September) . If anyone is wanting to join me on this trip I have a list of days and the cycling distance, so feel free to come for all or only parts of the journey. Please reach out if you would like to join.
