From nearly losing my daughter to walking for the charity that saved her life……
On 17th September 2025, Eshana, my daughter, was hit by a motorcycle whilst running. Due to the nature of her injuries, she was attended to by London Air Ambulance - they saved her life.
She was put in an induced coma and taken to St Mary’s ICU. Over a three month period as an inpatient, Eshana made a phenomenal recovery, thanks to the exceptional care she received and her resilience.
She is now continuing a period of neurorehabiltation and makes excellent progress each day.
I am walking the 100k Lake District Ultra Challenge with my sister in law (Eshana’s aunt), Debs, split over 2 days in support of the London Air Ambulance.
Your support will help ensure that London Air Ambulance can continue to save lives, providing rapid response and expert treatment when every second counts.
