Trans Pennine Trail - June 2025

Queenscourt Hospice is a local charity that provides free, high quality care for the people of Southport, Formby and West Lancashire. We care for patients with life limiting illnesses, enabling them to achieve the best possible quality of life at each new stage both in the Hospice and at home.

Story

Southport to Hornsea via Liverpool and Hull...

Ruth and I are going to walk the Trans Pennine Trail in June and we would like to raise some money for Queenscourt Hospice, Southport.

On the 29th December 2024 a good friend of ours, Sally-Ann, was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer. She sadly passed away less than 6 weeks later on 6th February in Queenscourt Hospice – she was 48 .

Sally-Ann was an amazing friend - one of the most cheerful and positive people we have ever known.

She was an incredible wife and soulmate to David & the most amazing and supportive mum to Max, Taylor and Evie.

We will publish the stages of our walk and would be delighted if you could join us for some of it.

Thank you for your support !
