Story
What a challenge this is going to be! Running 103 km through rugged mountains, with a brutal 6,400 meters of ascent. But this isn’t just any run for me. It’s for my friend, who, at just 29, has been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
MND is a ruthless disease that gradually takes away the ability to move, speak, and breathe. Hearing about my friend’s diagnosis was heart-wrenching. His courage in the face of this challenge has inspired me to run this mountain marathon to support him and others battling MND.
I’m tackling this mountain marathon to raise funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA). It will be grueling, but every step is for my friend. His strength will drive me to the finish line.
As I climb these mountains, your support will keep me going. Every donation, big or small, funds crucial research and care for those affected by MND. I’m giving this race everything I’ve got, and I need your help to make it count.
For my friend.
