Alexandra Pearson is raising money for St Luke's (Cheshire) Hospice
In memory of Peter Kielty

Camino de Santiago from Sarria 100km in 7 days · 21 June 2026

Since 1988, St Luke’s has been providing specialist, palliative care and support to local people, supporting them in ways which go beyond the scope and funding of the NHS. Our support begins from the moment someone is diagnosed, through to palliative care and ultimately end of life care.

Story

For the forth year in a row I am setting myself a challenge to raise money in memory of my beloved late husband Peter. This year I will be walking Camino de Santiago from Sarria, Saint Frances route 100km in 7 days. I hope you can help raise some more money for this amazing charity which is close to my heart.

We provide specialist, palliative care and support to local people, free of charge, supporting them in ways which go beyond the scope and funding of the NHS. Our support begins from the moment someone is diagnosed, through to palliative care and ultimately end of life care. We help families and carers with the pressures and strains of illness, to coping with bereavement and moving forward. This is only made possible due to the continued support and generous donations of our community who provide over 80% of the cost of running the Hospice.
