God willing during the period (17th – 25th Oct 2026) I will be visiting on a SELF-FUNDED (Flights, Food & Accomodation) aid trip to poverty stricken Malawi (Africa) the 3rd Poorest country in the world with the Keighley-based Green Crescent Aid UK (International humanitarian charity).

I will be distributing 32 KG Food Parcels costing £35 (ZAKAT APPLICABLE) to the most needy poor Malawians. Over 70% of the 21 million population live under the international poverty line of £1.61 ($2.15) per day, 23% of child death cases are related to malnutrition and there is a high death rate due to water-borne diseases, HIV/Aids and general poor health.

In October 2019 I visited Malawi and was shocked by the sheer mass scale of the poverty I witnessed. Families were living in mud built & straw roofed homes, they were walking miles to get clean water, children were visibly malnourished with often no footwear and lack of clothes. homes had very few if any food items.

In Malawi families will be struggling for food. Large families are surviving in many cases on 1 meal a day. Please make daily life THAT MUCH EASIER by contributing towards the Food Parcels – the more we RAISE the More we can hand out. No donation is too high and no donation is too small – it all counts!

Each Food Parcel costs £35 (ZAKAT APPLICABLE) which will weigh AT LEAST 32KG & will include the following (WHICH MAY CHANGE DEPENDING ON NEEDS ON THE GROUND):

Maize Flour 20kg, Rice 5kg, Sugar 3kg, Salt 1kg, Soya 10 Packets, Oil 2 Litres, Soap 2 Tablets & Chitenje 1 Piece (traditional cloth).

My aim with YOUR SUPPORT is to raise £10,000 so that we can provide at least 285 Food Parcels that will last a family for up to 1 month.

I was named in the King's New Year Honours 2025 & received a British Empire Medal (BEM) & have received several other national honours. For 29 years I have been at the forefront of community & humanitarian initiatives at the local, national & international levels receiving national awards in the process. I work as a Careers Adviser in 3 inner city schools & take annual leave for my charity trips & self-fund them. To date I have raised almost £1.5 million for charitable causes both home & abroad. For the last 2 years every Tuesday I have run the Nazim Ali Foundation 'Khidma Community Kitchen' sponsored by Bradford-based Saveco Cash & providing warm 2 course meals to the homeless & destitute. Prior to this for 10 years I volunteered weekly at another Soup Kitchen in Bradford). Over the last 13 years as part of the 'Creating Smiles Gifts Initiative' I have set up I've made 52 visits to hospitals childrens wards at Bradford Royal Infirmary & Airedale Hospital Childrens Wards distributing thousands of pounds worth of gifts to poorly children. I have distributed in person Aid to the Turkey/Syria border on 7 occasions, the Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh, Iraqi refugees in war torn Mosul (Iraq), poverty stricken Malawi (Africa), Pakistan Pre-Ramadan Deployments in 2022 & 2023 & to refugees in France & Belgium, Lebanon Ramadan Deployment in 2024, the Jordan Pre-Ramadan Deployment in Feb 2025, Egypt Deployment in Aug 2025 & the Burundi Deployment in Oct 2025 all in the last 11 years. In addition, I have fundraised almost £53,000 from my 2020 Ramadan 10k Run & project managed 116 house transformation in Malawi & provided full video feedback for each house. Furthermore, £78,751 fundraised from my 2021 Ramadan 10K Run to build 63 New 2 Room Homes for Syrian Refugees in Northern Syria with full video feedback for each house. From my Ramadan 2022 fundraising I raised £66,559 to build 35 New Homes for the Poor in Sindh, Pakistan (with full video feedback for each house), from my 2023 Ramadan 10K run I raised £66,611 to build 36 New 2 Room Homes in poverty-stricken Uganda (with full video feedback for each house), fundraised £81,400 from my Ramadan 2024 fundraising Run to build 40 New 2 Room Homes in poverty-stricken Afghanistan (with full video feedback for each house). In addition, I raised £85,810 to build 40 New Houses which I opened in person in late Oct 2025. From my 2026 Ramadan 10K Run (March 2026) in Derby I raised £102,590 to build 39 New Houses in Azad Kashmir which are currently being built.
